Whistleblower Policy

Whistleblower Policy Purpose

The purpose of this whistleblower policy is to encourage employees to report any known or suspected illegal, unethical or improper conduct that violates the company’s policies.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees of the company, whether they are full-time, part-time or contract, as well as any vendors, partners, and agents who interact with the company.

Reporting Procedure

If an employee has knowledge of or suspects any illegal, unethical or improper conduct they should report it immediately to their supervisor or manager. If the employee is not comfortable reporting it to their supervisor or manager, or if the supervisor or manager is involved in the conduct, they should report it to the designated whistleblower hotline or to a higher-level manager. The company will keep all whistleblower reports confidential to the extent possible.

Non-Retaliation

The company will not retaliate against any employee who in good faith reports any known or suspected illegal, unethical or improper conduct. Any employee who retaliates against a whistleblower will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Protection of Whistleblower

The company will take appropriate steps to protect the whistleblower from any form of retaliation or intimidation. This may include, but is not limited to, monitoring the workplace for possible retaliation, providing the whistleblower with a support person and taking disciplinary action against any employee who engages in retaliation.

Conclusion

The company is committed to maintaining a work environment where all employees feel comfortable reporting illegal, unethical or improper conduct and will take steps to ensure employees are protected from any form of retaliation or intimidation.
